Distributed Area Defense System is Patent-Pending. Title - "Low-Cost Counter UAV Weapon System" and allows for a low-cost counter UAS weapon system. The CobraJets serve as the "eyes and ears" of the area defense system. The jets are positioned to be ready to engage the hostile UAS immediately without having to fly from a central location. This reduces the time to reach the threat and by being positioned along the perimeter ensures that the UAS are detected quickly before reaching the protected area.
