COBRAJET™ - C-UAS "Silver Bullet"
"It has been said that there is no "Silver Bullet" when it comes to a counter-drone weapon system, I disagree. Below are the main features of our CobraJet™ and I would like to hear from anyone who can tell me why our CobraJet™ is not the "Silver Bullet" for C-UAS", Nick Verini, President SkyDefense, Inc.
- • Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle (UCAV) – the “Silver Bullet” • Vertical Take off and Landing (VTOL) – can launch from any platform or space with no launcher or infrastructure • Reuseable platform – fly the mission and return for rearming • Instant-on performance – solid-state batteries provide instant power • Strong and rugged airframe – carbon fiber composite • Sensor fusion – combines EO/IR, GPS, radio, microphone and laser designator • Autonomous flight- with human oversight • Thrust-vectoring – provides agility and aerial combat ability • Modular "Nucleus" design – three core sizes (S6, S8, S10) available to meet Air Force, Army, Navy, and DHS needs • Stealthy – radar absorbing coating • All-weather operation – day/night operation, -20 to 120F, dust, sand, high winds, humidity • High-speed pursuit– trijet EDF turbine power (300+ mph) can intercept Group 1/2/3/4 UAS including jet-powered drones • Ceiling – from 100 ft to 20,000 ft • Swarms – fly in formation and neutralize large swarms with on-board munitions • Distributed Area Defense - acoustic sensors along with EO/IR sensor "eyes and ears" autonomously detects without transmitting radio-frequency energy for a passive kill chain • SmartVision – autonomous SI-enabled detection, identification, tracking and mitigation at high-speed using inertial guidance and computer vision • Electronic warfare - Resistant to GPS denial or electronic warfare interference. MagNav and mesh radio for severe environments during strike missions • Communications – radio, optional Starlink/Starshield and cellular networks • Command and Control (C2) – VRAM Mission Control is open source and can operate on a laptop for portable operation, also integrate with other long-range Command and Control (C2) systems. • Low-cost kinetic/non-kinetic munitions – Mach 1.0 VIPERS and PYTHONS loaded with bolas, nets and metallic rounds • Collateral damage- can minimize collateral damage using bolas and nets • Other payloads – carry other vendors payloads in weapons bay including hypersonic missiles, mini-glide bombs, and electronic jamming systems • Layered defense – adding surface-to-air RAPTORS provides multilayer defense • Strike missions - CobraJets primary function is as a C-UAS aircraft. Can also serve for strike missions against UGV and USV targets
